I have zero of those items in our entry. In fact it is totally empty because of my indecisiveness. 🤨 However I did have the door painted. I love all these ideas especially the dresser. How do you determine the bagua placement for business? I have a main entrance for the whole building and then my entrance within that space for my business. Both doors are in different directions. Mine is south the main entrance is west facing.

I loved seeing your family photos and hearing your story Julie. My parents both emigrated from India to the UK in the late 60s and your experience growing up really resonates with me. We also helped some of our relatives settle in the UK, living together and sharing what we had. Now everyone is thankfully settled and doing well here we are lucky to have the budget to make major changes to our homes but I love how you make interior design and renovation accessible to all. I have collected most of my decor items over a 40 year period. You don't need to buy all new pieces. There are very few pieces in my apartment that I don't love. I am going to replace my ho hum nightstands asap.

Great video. i have a mirror on the wall as you enter my home which I believe is not great feng shui. However I love it here and have a table in front with a beuatiful plant and lamp on it. Outr house feels very welcoming and warm. What are your thoughts.

Not trying to throw shade, but I was always taught that grocery store herb plants don't survive bc it's actually multiple plants in one and they die because they are essentially fighting for the nutrients. It is true because when I separated my grocery store basil, I literally had over 20 individual basil plants. I replanted half and put the other half in water. Some didn't make it because they were already done for, but I ended up with 5 healthy & very fast growing basil plants.

100% agree with your spot on advice. really smart suggestions and ideas to taper the cost. however, the gallery wall behind you seems like opposite of high end vibes.

Speak more calmly, and slow down a bit. Too much chattering is not peaceful. I understand the way and speed in which you speak is definitely cultural. I slow the video down to 75x.

Purge & declutter along with smart, and aesthetic storage goes a LOOOOONG way to making your house look nice. When I don't have a decorated or tidy space, it tends to get piled with stuff that doesn't have a home or that I am in too big of a hurry to put away.
